1:1 Assessment
Meet one on one with certified teacher, Patrice Torres who will gently evaluate your student's academic progress in eleven subject areas.Like adults, children perform best when they are relaxed and comfortable. The 1:1 Assessment is a unique, stress-free, yet highly accurate evaluation. Using informal assessment methods, your child won't even feel like he is being tested, but you will know he was when you see his results.

- Individualized and Holistic. We consider the whole student, not just "grade level abilities." Student strengths, weaknesses, personality, educational style, and development are just a few of the aspects we look at during assessment.

- 1:1 Assessments are administered at the Bothell Library. Please allow one hour per assessment.
- In-home assessments are available, please add $25 to be paid at time of service.
- Multi-assessment discounts available (3 assessments or more).
- Appointments will be scheduled within 24-hours of payment receipt. Arrangements may also be made for

The Checklist
A simple checklist format that you fill out in the comfort of your own home.Washington State law requires homeschoolers to be assessed each year between the ages of 8 and 18. Most testing is costly, stressful, time consuming, and doesn't always provide useful information for parents about their child's progress. For those years when you just need to test but don't want all the hassle and interference, The Checklist is an excellent alternative to more traditional assessment methods.

How it Works:
When you order your assessment, we will mail you our Checklist Packet that contains the necessary assessment forms and instructions for you to document what your student has accomplished for the year. You choose how much detail you want to supply. Once complete, mail them back to NW Untest. Our certified teacher will review, sign, and return your child's assessment along with a signed statement of legal compliance in about two weeks. That's all there is to it.
